New Premises Update

Mar 11, 2010

We’ve just been down the road to the new site and things are moving at a great pace. The level of the ground seems dramatically higher than on our last visit, and what really hit home after all the earth and gravel that has been shipped in by the lorry load, is that we are now at the stage where trenches have been dug to hold the steel for the foundations.

Until you happen to get up close and personal, you really do not get a true indication of the size of the buildings footprint. Seeing the trenches dug out for the showroom and workshop certainly shocked us.

Steels are at the ready and in places the trenches have had cement poured to level the high-tensile steel in place ready for the rest of the foundations. Over the next few weeks I am certain that the progress will be as quick as ever, but as we will be able to move upwards the results will look even more dramatic.
