New Building Update 18th June
Concrete, and more concrete!! Literally tonnes of the stuff are being poured into the new showroom floor as we write this. The slab will be laid today, the glass will be going in next week, and then the fun starts!!
The logistics of getting everything co-ordinated to hit deadlines will give everyone concerned a huge headache, but the building is now virtually complete, and our attention can be moved to the inside of the shell.
Every time we go to site the building looks more and more complete. The outside stone and fascia boarding is almost finished and looks impressive.
From walking out of the current store and going into the new space, it is immediately apparent of the differing shape of the space. The extra height of the building really makes an impression, and we are sure that when it is all completed and the shop-fittings are in, the effect will be dramatic.
We’re looking forward to our next visit.
